BENEFITS
- Compared to center/side construction, cap/base construction features a
cool-running base stock under the tread to help reduce tire running
temperatures and improve separation resistance. Road test results show
up to 20% added original tread mileage plus a sound carcass for bonus
recaps.
- Our large truck line has a cool-running tread and base compound
compared to our previous compounds. This tread rubber blend is
compounded with higher levels of natural rubber that contribute to its
cool-running ability. An independent road test revealed up to a 14%
better wear factor.
- The body plies in Mastercraft truck tires are impregnated with highly
resilient rubber to help guard against impact shock. The resilient
rubber bonds the tread and cord body into one cohesive unit.
"Hi-T" processed cord, measured by temperature, tension and
time, helps to give heat and bruise resistance.
- Every steel bead wire is bronze-coated for adhesion and insulated with
resilient rubber. The bead pack is covered with a heavy-duty flopper to
secure the beads then it is locked in by long ply turnups. This triple
bead protection helps provide durability and deliver recommended
payloads.
